1.     you only work with the cowl pattern piece

  • Extent the CF – the more you extend, the deeper the cowl neck. The model on the picture has an extension of 7 cm.

  • The extension ends at the original line.

2.    Make a new grainline

  • The pattern piece is cut on bias - so the grain line has an angle of 45 to the CF
